By 2020, the volume of pharmaceutical products of the Kaluga cluster will grow 5 times

The Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov in an interview with TV channel "Russia 24" told about the formation of the budget aid to the regions, a fair support of the regions, the pace of development of the region and, of course, the pharmaceutical cluster.

Our pharmaceutical cluster is recognized today not only at the Federal level, but also at the European level, we got a prize. By 2020, the volume of pharmaceutical products in rubles will grow in our area 5 times. Today we produce about 30 billion roubles, and by 2020, the projected production of 150 billion rubles of pharmaceutical products. In the pharmaceutical cluster has more than 60 participants. And it's not just the production itself. It is a science. This Park of active molecules that is already formed. This substance produced and used by our pharmaceutical companies.

As part of the cluster today, 62 enterprises and organizations, manufacturing - cluster make up the pharmaceutical factories of major global companies, AstraZeneca, "Novo Nordisk", "STADA SRL LLC", "BerlinChemie/Menarini" and large and medium-sized Russian pharmaceutical company "NEARMEDIC PLUS", "Mir-farm", "Farmvile", "BION", "Obninsk chemical-pharmaceutical company". Plants of companies "AstraZeneca", "Novo Nordisk" and "NEARMEDIC PLUS" was put into operation in 2015, completing the construction in 2016 will be put into operation another 2 plants: the Russian company "FARM-SYNTHESIS" and "Field farm". The cluster includes 38 small innovative and engineering companies.
